About Me

Professional Experience

I've spent 22 years in the electronics cooling and data center applications business. 

  • 17-1/2 years at IBM owning the cooling architecture and thermal design for over  15 Intel based servers, including the BladeCenter and Flex solutions
  • 3 years at Lenovo in the Research and Technology group driving differentiating and disruptive technologies and solutions, primarily around server efficiency profiling aimed at driving data center level energy savings 
  • 1-1/2 years at Vertiv driving embedded  monitoring and management solutions, as well as supporting the Liebert cooling team with new product solutions initiatives

I've been active in many industry forums over the years, including the following

  • ASHRAE TC9.9 as a voting member, IT subcommitee member, vice-chair, and current chair
  • DMTF Redfish DCIM Task Force group
